Wesley Trent Snipes, the man well-known for performing in movies like Blade, Demolition Man, and The Expendables 3, is also a film producer – even making his own production company, Amen-Ra films– and a martial artist as well. But before his rise to fame in the Hollywood film industry, at the age of 12, Snipes began his martial arts journey. Later on, he earned his fifth and second-degree black belt for Shotokan Karate and Hapkido, respectively.
Snipes also has his own security firm whose personnel is composed of people with law enforcement and martial arts experience. At the moment, Wesley Snipes is reported to be involved with Coming 2 America, the sequel to Eddie Murphy’s Coming To America. Between 1996 and 2004, Snipes earned $37.9 million from its agency career without paying any taxes. As a result, he was sentenced to three years in prison. In addition, Wesley had to pay the IRS $17 million in back taxes, interest and fines.
