Actress and model Amber Heard became popular for her breakthrough roles in the films Never Back Down and Pineapple Express, where she earned the Breakthrough Award at the Young Hollywood Awards. She also became the female lead in numerous films alongside Johnny Depp and Nicolas Cage. In 2017, she landed the role of Mera, Aquaman’s queen, in the DC film Aquaman which was credited as the 5th highest-grossing film of 2018.

She was recently appointed a global ambassador for L’Oréal Paris. Throughout her career, she appeared in more than 20 films and several TV shows. She also has upcoming projects to be released soon! Amber is also serious about her activism work. She has raised awareness on issues such as domestic and sexual violence and was named a Human Rights Champion. She currently stars in The Stand, a TV show adaptation of the Stephen King novel of the same name.
