Diana Ross is one of the most popular singers in the history of pop music. Her first credit was when she was a member of The Supremes, which was formerly known as The Primettes. As the band’s lead singer, Diana helped make the Supremes the most successful show in Motown. When they broke up in 1977, the band already had 12 hit singles on the American Billboard Hot 100 charts and was named one of the best-selling girl band of all time.
As she went on as a solo artist, one album Diana released was Why Do Fools Fall in Love in 1981, which later on sold over millions of copies. Throughout her solo career, she released around 30 records and 90 singles, 12 of which made it to the Billboard Top 10 list. Furthermore, Ross also gave acting a shot. She starred in movies, including Lady Sings the Blues. The performance earned both Academy and Golden Globe Awards nominations. Diana Ross has a wonderful voice and an incredible stage image.
