Outside of his football career, he got to take part in a few movies and television shows, even to the point where he was suggested to play the titular role in James Cameron’s film. He got to be in film and also produced a few television movies in the 1980s.
OJ was ordered to pay $33.5 million in damages to the Goldman family as a result of the Ron Goldman civil case. Today, that number has grown to more than $40 million. About $500000 was paid through the sale of various assets and souvenirs. Today, his main source of income is fully funded NFL pensions, which are reported to be worth up to $5 million. State law protects the pension from being claimed by the Goldman Family.
