Stand-up comedian and actress Amy Schumer rose to fame after being a contestant on the reality competition series Last Comic Standing back in 2007. Before that, Schumer graduated with a degree in theater in 2003 at Towson University. Apart from stand-up comedy, she also wrote her autobiography The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, which topped The New York Times Non-Fiction Best Seller list. In 2015, the actress got granted a Peabody Award for her comedy series Inside Amy Schumer. The series was co-produced, co-written, and created by the actress.
