JOY REID – STILL A HOST

Joy Reid is among the TV and news personalities who gained prominence for keen talent in facilitating topics and involvement in political issues. As of the moment, Joy hosts her weeknight show ReidOut on MSNBC. Joy is a degree holder at Harvard University. She took visual arts and documentation form, film, and graduated in 1991. Before her engagement in journalism, she first worked in a business firm as a consultant. She then entered the journalism industry in 1997 and worked at WSVN’s morning show.

After working briefly at a political group, Joy returned to broadcasting in 2008 and campaigned for Barack Obama. Since then, Joy’s involvement and niche revolve in politics and current events. She then co-hosts a radio talk show, Wake Up South Florida, in 2006 and AM Joy in 2016. Though she has met several controversies during her editorial career, Joy managed to move forward and reclaimed her trusted name.
