BROOKE SHIELDS – ACTING

Since getting into acting during her childhood years, Brooke Shields has stayed active in the Hollywood industry. Currently, Brooke stars as Beverly Goodman in the TV series Mr. Pickles and its spin-off, Momma Named Me Sheriff. However, she needed to pause at her career between 1983 and 1987, when she enrolled at Princeton University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages.

Today, Brooke has two daughters with her husband, writer Chris Henchy. They both married in 2001 and live together as a family in their home in Manhattan. Previously, she was married to tennis player Andre Agassi from 1997 to 1999. Shields is a vegan and an animal rights activist. Despite her animal rights advocacy, she started her mink fur coat line, which PETA criticized. She also became a spokesperson for Tupperware and Life Happens, a nonprofit group specializing in raising awareness about life insurance.
