ROB LOWE – ACTING

Known as a member of the Brat Pack, Rob Lowe had seen ups and downs throughout his career, and yet, he still manages to be beloved by fans. He got his first big break in the ABC series A New Kind of Family. After a string of TV roles, he gained prominence by starring in coming-of-age films such as The Outsiders, Square Dance, and St. Elmo’s Fire. Due to this, he got dubbed a member of the ‘Brat Pack,’ making him a highly bankable star at that time. After going on hiatus, he starred as Sam Seaborn in the classic TV political series The West Wing, for which he gained a Primetime Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations.

He is married to Sheryl Berkoff since 1991 and shares two sons: Matthew and John. They met twice in 1983 and 1990. He has also involved himself in raising funds for breast cancer research and education. However, the actor has also gotten involved in a couple of legal issues. Fortunately for the actor, his lawyer was able to win his case in 2009.
