DREW BARRYMORE – ACTING

Drew Barrymore comes from a family of actors, so it wasn’t surprising when she starred in her breakout role as Gertie in Stephen Spielberg’s 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. However, her bright acting career began getting clouded by controversies during her teenage years. Fortunately, Barrymore stood true to her family rite and went on to earn more acting accolades for herself, including a Golden Globe.

Some of her most notable acting credits come from various films such as Boys on the Side, The Wedding Singer, Riding in Cars with Boys, and 50 First Dates. Her most recent work was in the Netflix original television series Santa Clarita Diet opposite Timothy Olyphant. Outside of Hollywood, however, Drew is busy being a wife and a mother. Barrymore married Will Kopelman in June of 2012. Together they have two children named Olive and Frankie. Unfortunately, the couple decided to go on separate ways in August 2016.
