KATHERINE ROSS — STILL ACTING

Katherine Ross is a seasoned actress who has garnered numerous awards throughout her career. Her career began on the stage before she became a star on the screen. Ross’s first television appearance was on the show Sam Benedict in 1962. That was the start of her television career as she continued to book appearances on numerous shows. Her breakthrough performance was when she got the role of Elaine Robinson on the 1967 film The Graduate, which earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress and the New Star of the Year Award at the Golden Globes. Everything started working out for her from then on as she was catapulted into stardom.

The actress took a break from acting when she got married, but she can never entirely leave Hollywood and her love for the craft. One of her most known acting credits came after she returned from her break, and that was when she got the lead role for the 1975 film The Stepford Wives. Now, the actress continues to act but not as much as before. Some of her recent films are comedy-drama films The Hero and Attachments.
