KURT RUSSELL — STILL ACTING

Kurt Russell is an accomplished actor who started his career at the early age of 12 when he appeared on the television series The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters. At that age, he already showed signs of being a star, and he proved it as he continued putting out great performances throughout his career. One of Russell’s most notable performances is in the biographical drama film Silkwood, where he garnered a nomination for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture at the Golden Globe Awards. The actor has received many nominations and awards, but he has never gotten an Academy Award nomination even for his outstanding performances.

That fact didn’t bother Russell as he proved that his career doesn’t need validation through certain awards. Throughout the decades, he continued to appear in popular films like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The actor hasn’t run out of gas as he continues to act in films.
