SHELLY DUVALL – ESCAPED THE LIMELIGHT

Shelly Duvall made a mark in the entertainment industry when she played the role of Wendy Torrance in the 1980 movie The Shining. She is famous for her portrayals of various weird characters. The classic film is based on Stephen King’s famous novel with the same title and the film was directed by Stanley Kubrick. Hence, this might be Duvall’s greatest investment in the business. However, behind the film’s success is the sacrifice of its actors on set that resulted in exhaustion due to Kubrick’s alleged severe method.

According to reports, Kubrick has behaved tyrannically towards Duvall which eventually caused her trauma. In 1988, Duvall founded a production company called Think Entertainment and created some movies.
