Kim Basinger was a former model who had a successful modeling career in New York during the 1970s. From there, she moved to Los Angeles to start a career in television and then rose to fame in the 1980s. Basinger was known as a sex symbol in the 1980s and 1990s. She was part of the unofficial 1983 James Bond film Never Say Never Again. She also appeared in the 1989 Batman, opposite Michael Keaton. This is still her highest-grossing movie of her career.

She used to be part of the “it-couple” when she had a thing with Alec Baldwin. However, the two opted for divorce in 2002 with the help of their lawyers. Basinger once filed for bankruptcy when she dealt with a huge financial problem. However, all is well today with her $40 million net worth. Basinger is now an animal activist. She is also vegetarian.
