LAUREN TEWES – SOUS-CHEF
Lauren Tewes caught everyone’s attention when she appeared in a Lipton Ice Tea commercial in the 1970s, allowing her to join the Screen Actors Guild. Since then, she has played minor roles in Charlie’s Angels and Starsky & Hutch until she received her most notable role in the long-running television series The Love Boat. Tewes was replaced on The Love Boat because of cocaine abuse. She struggled with it and eventually overcame it.
Tewes played the role of Julie McCoy for years which gave her hefty earnings to pay for her loans. Her fame in the series helped her be part of the hit TV series Murder, She Wrote, and Hunter. Although the 66-year-old star is yet to retire, she was last seen in the remake of Twin Peaks in 2017. She is now busy being a sous-chef in a catering company in Seattle.
