JENNIFER CONNELLY – ACTING

Known as one of America’s most beautiful women, Jennifer Connelly has worked as a model and actress, achieving much with ease. She started as a child model when she worked under the Ford Modeling Agency. Her first acting career was in the 1984 movie Once Upon a Time in America, considered to be among the greatest gangster films of all time. However, her first leading role was in the 1985 horror movie Phenomena as Jennifer Corvino. She eventually starred in many iconic movies such as Labyrinth, Dark City, and A Requiem for a Dream. She later won an Oscar for her role as Alicia Nash in the 2001’s A Beautiful Mind.

Currently, she is married to actor Paul Bettany, and they share two children: Stellan and Agnes. She participated and made investments in numerous charity organizations such as Amnesty International, Save the Children, and Charity: Water. She was made an ambassador for Japanese personal care company Shiseido in 2012, with prior experience with the company in advertising their products during the 1980s.
