As famous as her brother Michael Jackson was, Janet Jackson managed to forge her own path away from his shadow. Her career began in 1976 with the TV series The Jacksons. In 1982, her first solo album “Janet Jackson” was released,  then she became a pop icon. She is an awarded singer and songwriter with Grammy Award wins and Guinness World Records under her belt.

On February 26, 2013, Janet Jackson officially announced that she and her boyfriend Wissam Al Mana had secretly married. However, they divorced in 2017. Nowadays, Janet Jackson still keeps an active career. She released her most recent album, Unbreakable, back in 2015 and has had a series of concerts in San Francisco, Hawaii, and Las Vegas in 2019. The series of concerts was her celebration for the 30th anniversary of her album, Rhythm Nation. Safe to say that Janet Jackson isn’t running out of gas any time soon.
