TOM SELLECK – ACTOR AND FILM PRODUCER
One of the iconic actors of the ’80s is Tom Selleck. He is famous for his role in the TV series Magnum P.I. as Thomas Magnum. Tom earned an Emmy Award and Golden Globe for his exceptional performance in the film. Likewise, Tom has appeared in many films such as Three Man and a Baby, Blue Bloods, Quigley Down Under, The Love Letter, and In and Out. What most people don’t know about the actor is that he was also a veteran of the California Army National Guard. He served the 160th Infantry Regiment for six years, from 1967 to 1973.
Even if Tom is among the TV’s leading men, his acting career did not immediately succeed. The star faced many obstacles, and his first dream was to become a professional athlete. Now, he gives credit to the hardships he faced because he became a renowned actor and producer through them.
