GARTH BROOKS – MUSICIAN

Garth Brooks is one of the iconic country musicians of all time. The singer has had a highly successful career with six diamond-certified albums. As a matter of fact, the RIAA regarded him as the best-selling solo album musician in the US. He sold over 148 million domestic units, surpassing Elvis Presley, and has come second to the famous band, The Beatles. Garth is among the best-selling artists in history who sold over 200 million records around the world.

Did you know, however, that while he enjoyed singing growing up, his primary passion was sports? The country crooner liked to play baseball and football and was also part of the track and field team during high school. He even landed a track scholarship to Oklahoma State University. Garth graduated with a marketing degree, but after playing guitar, he discovered his passion for music. Now, he continues to do what he loves most. The musician recently performed a concert, and it was broadcasted at 300 drive-ins in Canada and the US. We guess it’s safe to say that Garth isn’t stopping anytime soon!
