DENZEL WASHINGTON – STILL AN ACTOR
Born on December 28, 1954, Denzel Washington is one of the best actors in history— and no one can deny that he deserves every single one of his numerous awards. Besides his acting career, Denzel worked as a philanthropist who gave his personal and financial support to various organizations. Circling back to his acting chops, Denzel became the epitome of classic movie stardom, which is associated with the characters he portrayed. Many of the roles he enacted, to a certain degree, are defined by humanity, inner strength, dignity, and grace.
For his 45 years in the industry, he gathered many accolades, including three Golden Globe Awards, two Academy Awards, and seventeen NAACP Image Awards. Some of his outstanding performances are in films such as Training Day and Glory. At one point, he has been ranked as the greatest actor of the 21st century by The New York Times.
