JOEL OSTEEN – JOHN OSTEEN’S SON

John Osteen was so popular in the world of evangelism that his church works have become a criterium for the successful preaching of Biblical teachings of Christianity. At the early age of 17, he was ordained as a minister, and later, he became the founder of the Lakewood Church in Texas which is known to many by its nickname, “The Oasis of Love in a Troubled World” church.

After John passed away, his son, Joel Osteen, took over as the head pastor of their church. Not surprisingly, he is as equally charismatic as his father had been. However, before becoming the leader of one of the most influential religious institutions in the world, Joel has since been active in working behind the limelight, specifically on the televising of the evangelical works of their church. He also made and investments and spent a tremendous amount of effort into widening the coverage of their congregation through the internet and other media outlets, making him suitable for the position that his dad left him.
