QUINCY JONES III – QUINCY JONES’ SON

Quincy Jones may not be a familiar name to the general public and to the younger generation, but he has been in the music industry as early as the 1950s. As someone who has seen the transitions of one music genre to another, he is given credit for his music blending skills. He is able to shuffle different styles in order to create something that is unique to the ears of his target audience.

Growing up seeing the amazing work of his father, Quincy Jones III did no less and made his father proud by founding his own company, QD3. He is now a music producer, film producer, and author who has proven himself worthy by being nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 1999 for Outstanding Main Title Theme Music for The PJs and for a News & Documentary Emmy Award in 2010 for Best Documentary for Independent Lens and Made in America.
